IT IS MY EXPERIENCES THAT WE OFTEN GET QUESTIONED ABOUT OUR DESIRE TO CHANGE OUR LIVES, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, OR SOMETHING POSITIVE.
AS TEENS DO YOU FEEL THE PEER PRESSURE FROM FRIENDS QUESTIONING YOUR MOTIVES TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH YOUR LIFE ? WHEN I WROTE THE LYRICS TO THESE SONGS, I THOUGHT ABOUT HOW I WAS QUESTIONED WHILE DOING TIME. MY SO-CALLED HOMEBOYS WOULD SAY THINGS LIKE, " KEV WHY YOU WAIT UNTIL YOU GOT LOCKED UP BEFORE YOU CALLED ON GOD ? OH, YOU IN JAIL NOW, AND WANT GOD IN YOUR LIFE, ETC. "

WELL FOR THOSE THAT HAVE ZERO UNDERSTANDING OF A MAN WANTING TO CHANGE BECASUE THE STREETS AS NEARLY KILLED HIM, I WISH I HAD MADE THE CHOICE TO CHANGE AND GET TO KNOW GOD WHEN I WAS A ADOLESCENT RUNNING WILD. AT THE AGE OF 48 YEARS OLD I AM IN THE STRUGGLE OF CHANGE, WITH HOPES THAT I CAN SHARE SOME REAL TRUTH ABOUT HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO NOT LET THOSE QUESTIONS INFLUENCE ME OR YOU TO TURN AROUND FROM THE PATH OF DELIVERANCE.





CHANGING I

Youth Healing

We face a very serious plague. So many of us are being misled.
Please help us Lord take a stand. Provide us with that master Plan.
